DataMan

Aims to improve our understanding of the influence of key variables (incl. manure type, climate & soil conditions) affecting N₂O, NH₃ and CH₄ emissions from manure management.

MilKey

Aims to develop a whole system concept for 3P sustainability of dairy production systems targeted to key European regions. GHG mitigation is a core aim accompanied by other environmental impacts, and analysis of economic and social factors.

DTC Archive

The project was initially related to the Demonstration Test Catchments Platform developed by Defra. The archive was also designed to hold data from the GHG R&D Platform.

Aimed to develop tools for understanding and predicting ammonia loss from field-applied manure.

COST Action LivAGE

SILF

Demonstrated the benefits of integrating different information streams for supporting efficient dairy production. It also developed know-how on user requirements for practical lameness detection system development through real-farm application, validation and robustification and evaluation of these systems in Belgium, Denmark, Finland and Ireland.

SMART-CEA

Brought together an international and interdisciplinary group of research teams from Europe, USA & Korea and relative SMEs for the purpose of forming an excellent centre of synergy in research, innovation and technology transfer in the area of agriculture production in greenhouse and livestock buildings aiming to remove the barriers that presently impede a fluent diffusion and actualization of the knowledge and know-how available in the field of new technologies applied to the CEA sector.
